LAST DAY IN CAYE CAULKER

All day chillin at the hostel. This will be our last day night as we intend to visit other parts of Belize. Resting on a hammock met Caroline, a young British doctor travelling for a bit before going back to work.

At 15:00 this Belizean 16 years old kid took us to see the local fisherman, so we bought 2 huge lobsters (2lb each) for our dinner.

A while later we went to the local Chinese store to get a bag of charcoal and potatoes, when the prettiest girl of the island just cycle past us and we find ourselves walking towards her until I pointed to the opposite direction: “Ryan, we have the go that way!” Hot damn! That girl is an accident waiting to happen.

Talked some more with the people at the hostel then prepared a tasty garlic with butter seasoning for the lobsters. Ryan started the fire and we cooked the crustaceous to our personal liking. I’ve been eating the raw food diet for a while now and have been following it through and through (apart from a couple of times) so I grilled my lobster just a little bit.

Then Caroline and her friend came back and we decided to buy a bottle of rum and mango juice. When we finished it we noticed that our small group of 4 had increased to over 10 with people from all corners of United States, England, Australia, and of course the island of Madeira (Me!).

Great last night in the island. We all ended the nigh swimming on the sea in front of the hostel then got soaked from the torrential rain and nearly got killed by the nasty mosquitoes.

I went to bed at about 5:30 but some people went to watch the sunrise.

Really shitty internet. Got some amazing photos from all corners of Belize but I can’t upload any at all!

Ciao 4 now
